was where I spent the first of May.

Of course I would wear a lace dress to do that. Who wouldn't?

I also booked a flight to Melbourne, Australia

to attend the wedding of two wonderful friends of mine

(and escape winter here, which is a nice side effect).

It's Spring, everybody acts as if it's Summer and I like it.

The balcony is slowly transforming into a green paradise -

we've been planting all kinds of flowers and herbs - and bell peppers! Strawberries!

Backyard BBQs, riding our bikes around the city, ice cream, reading & eating outside, ...

Spring, I hope you're here to stay.

Easter weekend:

seeing family & friends,

wandering around the city for a bit,

Golden hour light, sometime last week.

Winter is like a long illness that's difficult to shake off,

suddenly the fever returns for no apparent reason...

I'm planning a trip to Melbourne (the one in Australia, which seems logical, but I found out about the existence of a city by the same name in the U.S. when one day browsing for flights I discovered plane tickets were about 500 euros cheaper than the day before - well, the excitement faded as soon as I corrected the typo I'd made in a hurry).  

Also planning a slightly more affordable trip to Vienna this weekend,

because I miss it,

because I've been sick (again!),

and because I just need to get out of here for a little while.

Sadly missed out on a weekend with friends because I got sick (again!).

and the Great Ocean Road in Australia /

so happy to be alive & traveling whenever I can /

can't wait to smell the ocean again... smell of complete freedom

(sometimes knowing I am free to go,
