I realize I've got a lot of catching up to do on here, but for now, Merry Christmas.
Our tree includes a souvenir from Australia - more on that soon - and sometimes Oliver the cat who has been attempting but luckily failing to knock all the ornaments off the tree.

I consider myself a film enthusiast, but a picky one. 

More often than not you'll find me checking my watch or cell phone halfway through a movie, 

and again and again until it's over (that's if I'm not asleep by then).

Not with this one, though. 

Frances Ha is the most perfect movie I've seen in a while.

If it were up to me, summers would be endless,

but it's September now and the nights are getting cold, the mornings foggy. 

Fall is for climbing mountains and not stopping until you get to the top.
